The Royal is an amazing Vaudeville Art Deco venue in downtown Boston. I went to see Allen Stone here the other night which was awesome, and making the event even better was the quality of the venue and its staff.

Friends and I hit up Royale for their NYE clubbing event. The club was very spacious (2 floors), had lounge-style seating in the middle of the main floor, provided a good amount of props for NYE, and had bars on all sides of the club. The DJ played house/trap/EDM all night. I'm not into that type of music, but my friends love EDM and they thought the music was really good. Overall, I wouldn't go back to Royale... cover on regular nights is $20-25, which just isn't worth it to me. Note: Coat check is $3

The venue and set up of this place is fantastic. In fact, the venue itself is extremely classy, though I can't really say the same for a lot of the patrons. Nevertheless, I still enjoy coming here, especially when there are special events.

This is my favorite venue for a reason. I went yesterday to see Hardwell and my phone was stolen from my purse. When informed management they did everything in their power to help me. The shot girl also did her best to help me by keeping an eye on the woman who I saw stole my phone. She kept checking up on me to make sure I was emotionally ok. Seriously, promote that girl to manager. Eventually the girl gave me back my phone and all was well because of the hard working staff!!
